Interview Coaching

Congratulations, you made it to the interview! The job can be yours…if you nail this crucial part of the process. Performing well during the interview requires taking the necessary time to prepare for the questions that the hiring manager will ask you.

Most hiring managers will ask behavioral-based interview questions, or questions that focus on how you navigated certain work situations in previous jobs, in order to gain insight into your skills and personality, and how you’ll perform as a potential new hire. Examples of behavior-based interview questions include, “Describe a time when you didn’t get along with a co-worker. What steps did you take to resolve the situation, and what were your results?” or “Give an example of a goal you achieved and how achieved it.” These are not questions that allow for “off the cuff” answers. Rather, they require careful forethought, preparation, and rehearsal so that you answer them completely and professionally.
